About

Hi, I’m Laurel Eastling. The creator.

Herbalist, tree and plant whisperer, nature lover, and green path wanderer. From the time I was a small child, I remember gardening with both my parents beside me. Just like their parents before them, they loved working with the land and passed their passion for nature down to me.

My adoration for plants and animals has only blossomed since my younger years living outside of Chicago and then Kansas City, MO, and now in Eudora, Kansas, I find myself continuing to grow with the native prairie plants beside me. With the support of my husband, Lee, my 3 parrots, 1 dog, and 2 cats, I continue to plant, commune with, identify, and wildcraft herbs, knowing I will never stop learning their magical ways.

About Laurel Eastling and Tree Line Creations

I first started crafting my herbal offerings as gifts to support my family and friends. The sheer joy and relief I saw when the products were used encouraged me to follow Alice and dive further down the rabbit hole. Tree Line Creations was birthed as a small-batch apothecary and has allowed me to flourish as a creative and ever-curious herbalist. From nutritional herbal products to flower-infused oils for skin care, my products offer a wide range of physical, spiritual, and mental support for folks at any age in their life.

Working with wildcrafted or personally cultivated herbs brings me unconditional happiness, which I pour thoughtfully into each creation, along with the simultaneous love and respect for the world around us. You can currently find me and my seasonal, ethically-sourced and crafted herbal goods at the Lawrence Farmer’s Market where I would be happy to chat further about any support you may need or any of the wonderful properties in each nature-based product.

You don’t need to be an herbalist to enjoy my offerings - they’re crafted for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re hoping to relax in a botanical bath, nourish your skin with a rich and creamy salve, or enjoy a steaming mug of mineral-rich tea in winter, there’s something for everyone here.

EDUCATION

I love learning, and am always involved in a new course or have my nose in a different herbal book. I believe the plants are always teaching us, and I’ve learned an exceptional amount of wisdom through the arts of foraging and wildcrafting - identifying and sustainably harvesting plants in their native habitat. Over the years, I have completed herbalism courses through:

The Herbal Academy
The School of Evolutionary Herbalism
Prairiewise Herbal School (recently Laya Center, Kansas City)
