Come take a deep dive with us into these early Spring herbs! Our focus will be on getting to know Chamomile, Nettle and Dandelion.

We’ll get a great foundation going by doing an Intro to Herbalism. Then we’ll build our skills learning about infusions, decoctions and other water based herbal preparations.

Our intuition will be used to find a plant buddy that is catching our eye, then we’ll sit and draw our new friend to hone our observation skills and talk about the doctrine of signature techniques.

Starting Herbal seeds will be our tending focus for the first month. We’ll learn about scarification, stratification and other particulars about growing some finnicky herbal plants from seeds.

We’ll hold class on May 26th at Sacred Sun Farm’s herb gardens from 9am - 1pm. Once you sign up, we’ll send you an email with contact and preparation info for the class and what to expect.
